Director's Message

Hey, welcome to CAPT Sports! I am Jade, the 14th sports director yay

Here at CAPT Sports, we organise events such as ING, ICG, CE Sports Week, and Student–Staff Games to provide CAPTains with opportunities to explore their sporting interests in an inclusive and enjoyable environment that strengthens inter-house bonding.

Past Projects

Inter-College Games (ICG)

ICG is a season where CAPTains from different houses come together and compete against other Residential Colleges (RCs) in 30 different sporting events. Events include all physical, mind sports and e-sports. Through a common passion for sports, ICG seeks to facilitate the forging of friendships and strong connections among CAPTains, simultaneously helping CAPTains make new friends from other RCs to further pursue their sporting interests!

Inter-Neighbourhood Games (ING)

The ING is an annual sporting event in CAPT, organized by the Sports Committee. CAPTains engage in 16 different sports from our existing Sports Interest Groups. ING fosters friendly competition across the neighbourhoods, encourages exploration of new sports, and strengthens house camaraderie, promoting a vibrant sporting culture.

CE Sports Week

CE Sports Week is a week-long event that brings CAPTains together with different communities through sports. By participating in adaptive sports, CAPTains gain firsthand insight into the challenges these communities face. Last year’s CESW featured Pickleball and Parabowl played while being visually impaired, fostering empathy and understanding through shared experiences.

Student Staff Games

To foster student–staff bonding, CAPTains come together with CAPT admin staff and Fellows for a fun sports session, providing an informal setting to connect, interact, and get to know one another better.
