Directors' Message

Hey fellow CAPTains! Zachary here, and together with Rishabh, we set out to make CAPT Ambassadors into more than just a committee. United by our passion for CAPT, we aim to inspire future CAPTains by sharing our own stories and welcoming visitors from all over the world to experience what makes us truly proud to call the college our second home.

Hey CAPTains! I’m Rishabh, and it’s been a thrill leading CAPT Ambassadors with Zach! Our mission has always been to spread the joys of CAPT with the public, sharing our personal experiences to the masses through guided tours, outreach and cultural exchange. Beyond these, we work closely with the Open House team to train tour guides for the inaugural event, letting our stories and laughter reach even more people, and hopefully turning them into future CAPTains too.

Family Night

Ever found it hard to fully explain what life at CAPT is like? Family Night is the perfect opportunity to show it instead. Whether it’s your parents, siblings, relatives, or friends, CAPT’s annual Family Night invites the people closest to you to experience a glimpse of your everyday life in college. From committee booths that showcase the many communities and initiatives you are part of, to guided tours of CAPT’s facilities, common spaces, and rooms, visitors will get a fuller picture of what makes CAPT feel like home. Along the way, our coffee, baking, and cooking interest groups will be filling the air with the irresistible aromas of freshly made treats, lovingly prepared for our guests. Family Night is all about sharing the people, spaces, and moments that define your CAPT experience!

School Engagements

CAPT Ambassadors have previously hosted various schools who want to learn more about the Residential College life in NUS, as well as NUS itself. The ambassadors will then bring the students on a guided tour around CAPT and Utown and provide them with insightful information about their University experiences.

Times Higher Education (THE) Campus Live South-east Asia Conference

On 8 December 2022, nearly 300 school leaders and decision makers in higher education gathered in NUS for THE Campus Live SE Asia conference. A college tour was led by CAPT Ambassadors to offer the attending delegates a taste of the unique residential life that CAPT has to offer.
