CAPT Support
We are a community passionate about mental well-being. We strive to connect CAPTains, nurture our supporters, advocate for mental health, and empower each and every CAPTain to be a Compassionate Supporter.

Director's Message
We are CAPT Support, a community of individuals passionate about mental well-being. We seek to promote awareness and understanding about mental health among CAPTains, and facilitate safe spaces for discussions about mental health.
Through training sessions, CAPT Supporters are educated on mental health issues and empowered with peer-supporting skills. Our CAPT Supporters help to cultivate safe spaces for CAPTains to be in touch with their emotions and enhance CAPTains’ own well-being.
Our goal is to foster meaningful and empathetic connections among residents and build a culture of care in the CAPT community. We dream of a CAPT where every CAPTain is a Compassionate Supporter, and thus we aim to empower CAPTains with the knowledge and skills to be pillars of care and support for their friends, family, and themselves.
Do join us if you want to help build a supportive culture surrounding mental health! Look forward to our campaigns and events, and see you around 🙂

Past Projects
These platforms serve as mediums to raise awareness about mental health and publicise CAPT-wide campaigns that are ongoing or upcoming
These sessions, facilitated by Supporters, allow for increased opportunities for CAPT Support to bring mental health and wellness to the rest of CAPT and allow CAPTains to feel more connected to CAPT Support and find Supporters more approachable in the long run.
Examples of Activities: Personal Sharings by CAPTains, Wellness Activities, Reflections and Discussions
1. Raising awareness on mental health illnesses and how we can support those struggling with them
2. Enabling CAPTains to practice and learn about mindfulness
3. Finding solidarity with other CAPTains via encouraging conversations of mental health
4. Recognising that support is mutually beneficial (being a supportive peer and being supported by others)
